Erewhon Culver City is Giving Healthy Vibes
The Culver City Steps, which has transitioned into a hub for technology and entertainment employers Sony, Amazon, and Apple, now has a cherry-on-top organic grocery store to anchor the whole compound: Erewhon! Opened on March 15, 2023.
Erewhon is giving me all the hipster, organic, money-rich vibes. This envy-worthy grocery store is the latest addition to Culver City's ever-gentrifying downtown area. With its commitment to supporting local growers and sustainable agricultural practices, Erewhon is sure to be a hit with the health-conscious crowd.

The store's ninth location in the area, and its second-largest, Erewhon Culver City is sure to be a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. The store features a juice and coffee bar, sushi selection, and fresh soup bar, along with Erewhon's signature Organic Tonic Bar and The Organic Café.
Other neighbors in the Culver Steps development include Sephora, Mendocino Farms, Philz Coffee, Pop's Bagels, Afuri Ramen + Dumpling, Yunomi Handroll, Salt & Straw, CorePower Yoga and Formula Fig. With so many great options to choose from, Culver City is quickly becoming the place to be for those looking for a unique and stylish shopping experience.

The developers of the 42,000-square-foot retail space received over 150 offers from potential tenants. To accommodate Erewhon, they made significant modifications to the space. For example, they more than doubled Erewhon’s space to 122,000 square feet; as it sounds like it was originally for a mix of smaller retailers and restaurants.
Lots of prepared food options - good for lunch or a grab and go meal
Whew, and aren’t we glad they did? Now Culver City locals get access to Trader Joe’s, across the street, Erewhon for wholesome high-endness and yes, just a stone throw away (a convenient 7 minute walk) is, my personal favorite, Sprouts Market. So yes, I’d say, I’m pretty jealous of grocery story heaven Culver City.
